He has had the privilege of accompanying leading musicians from India, including Dr. Sheela, Vivek has been regularly performing in mridangam and kanjira, including concerts since 2004 in Nadatarangini and concerts for five years at the Cleveland Aradhana. Since his arrangetram in 2004 with Smt M.S. Vivek has won prizes in the percussion competition at the Cleveland Aradhana, including first place in the Senior mridangam category in 2005. Anoor Dattatreya Sharama of Bangalore, Sri Srinath Bala of Jayamangala and Kalaimamani Guruvayur Sri Dorai. Kannan, who hails from the style of Sri Palani Subramania Pillai. Vivek Chellappa began learning mridangam at the age of six from Sri R. He has participated in Indian Raga Advanced Labs- San Jose and accompanied tabla which was recorded and released. He is part of School Marching band playing snare drum. Tejas has been accompanying many music school functions around bay area on both Tabla (for Instrumental and Vocal) and Harmonium. He learnt Piano for 5 years and passed till level 5 on ABRSM Examination. Tejas Venkateswaran, a Freshman studying at Milpitas High school, has been learning Tabla for past six years from Guru Arshad Syed Ji and a disciple of Ustad Alla Rakha.
